Eid-Ul-Adha Sierra Leone

In many communities across Sierra Leone, families face daily hardship and food insecurity. For them, Eid ul-Adha is not only a spiritual occasion, but also a moment of hope. Through our Eid ul-Adha relief programme, we carry out Qurbani distributions to ensure that vulnerable families, widows, orphans, and the elderly are able to share in the blessings of Eid with dignity.

One cow is divided into seven (7) shares. Each share is USD 300, which is equivalent to GYD 60,000 or TTD 2,400. Each share provides fresh Qurbani meat to vulnerable families across Sierra Leone.

The sacrificed meat is distributed directly within local communities, reaching households that would otherwise go without. This act of giving strengthens community bonds, restores dignity, and brings nourishment to those who need it most. For many families, this relief is the only opportunity in the year to enjoy a nutritious meal during Eid.
